BIOGRAPHIES
Involved in a wide range of experimental art activities that connect discourses as diverse as architecture, fashion, product design and the making of Rock & Roll, the artists collaborative T&T (a.k.a. Tyler Brett and Tony Romano) mixes humour, irony and fantasy with the serious concerns of technology and our natural environment to offer a picture of the present as an ‘after image’ suspended between a familiar past and a yet to be discovered post-apocalyptic future. Brett and Romano both graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2001 and have exhibited in Europe and North America.
speaker series
The Speaker Series (2000–2006) was a programme of visiting artist talks and lectures organized by Charles H. Scott Gallery in conjunction with the Art Now course at ECIAD. The programme was initiated by ECIAD faculty Ian Wallace in the 1970’s as a series of lunchtime artist talks. Wallace ran the programme until 1998.
