Speaker Series: Gavin Hipkins

Gavin Hipkins is an artist from New Zealand who just finished his M.F.A. at the University of British Columbia. His work sets up a dialogue between painting, photography and digital print technology and has been shown internationally for the past few years. Most recently his work was included in the São Paolo Biennale.

The Speaker Series (1989–2006) was a programme of visiting artist talks and lectures. From 2000–2006, talks were co-organized with the Art Now course at ECIAD.
