Biographies
Henrik Håkansson lives and works in Berlin. Håkansson’s work sets up a dialogue between nature and technology through an interactive art that allows communication between humans and animals. He has been included in numerous solo and group exhibition including Mirror’s Edge at the Vancouver Art Gallery and represented Sweden at the Venice Biennale in 1997 where he turned the Nordic Pavillion into a breeding ground for butterflies.
Speaker Series
The Speaker Series (1989–2006) was a programme of visiting artist talks and lectures. From 2000–2006, talks were co-organized with the Art Now course at ECIAD.
