Speaker Series: Jeff Rian

Jeff Rian is a professor of art history at the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, Nimes, and is associate editor of Purple Magazine. Besides curating exhibitions, Rian has published books and catalogues on subjects ranging from contemporary art and culture, art history and the history of communications. He also contributes articles to Flash Art, Frieze, Artscribe, Index, and many more publications.

The Speaker Series (1989–2006) was a programme of visiting artist talks and lectures. From 2000–2006, talks were co-organized with the Art Now course at ECIAD.
