Please join READ Books at the Charles H. Scott Gallery for our Holiday Reading Sale. On December 11th we will launch Revolutionaries a new print edition by London-based artist Janice Kerbel. Revolutionaries is a modified excerpt from Three Ring, a larger series by the artist.

Janice Kerbel works with a range of materials, including drawing, text, audio and print, to explore the indefinite space between reality and fiction, and between abstraction and representation. Her work frequently involves extensive research, and takes the forms of plans, proposals, scripts or announcements for imaginative scenarios that cannot or will not actually happen.

Janice Kerbel lives and works in London (UK). She studied at Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design, and at Goldsmiths, University of London. She has had solo exhibitions at the Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Arnolfini, Bristol; and Artspeak, Vancouver. She has recently participated in several prestigious group shows including the British Art Show 6, Baltic, Newcastle; Art of the Garden, Tate Britain, London; and Crack the Sky, 5th Montreal Biennale.
