Please join us for a talk by Kristy Trinier. It is the latest installment of Curators on Curating, it is an ongoing series where leading curators discuss their work and the work of others.


Trinier is the Director of Visual, Digital and Media Arts at the Banff Centre. She previously held the post of Curator at the Art Gallery of Alberta and Public Art Director at the Edmonton Arts Council. Trinier holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Art and English from the University of Victoria and a Master’s Degree in Public Art from the Dutch Art Institute, as a Huygens scholar in The Netherlands. She is currently undertaking PhD studies at the European Graduate School in Philosophy, Art and Critical Thought. Additionally, she is the Secretary of Ociciwan Contemporary Art Collective, a member of MacEwan University Fine Arts Advisory Committee and co-producer of the Publication Studio 66B in Edmonton.
