Libby Leshgold Gallery

Taking inspiration from the works in the exhibit They Lift the Sky, as well as the archival practices of poets Diana Khoi Nguyen and Silvina López Medin, participants will gather 2 -3 personal items of emotional significance (photographs, scrapbooks, journals, notebooks, physical artifacts, etc). in advance to respond to via a series of generative writing exercises. Drawing on these notes and observations, and imagining a future archive, participants will create one new visual-textual item to add to their collection.
