A selection of drawings from eight Canadian architectural firms will be exhibited in the Charles H. Scott Gallery, Emily Carr College of Art & Design, April 12 through May 5, 1985.
These drawings chosen from the work of such architects as Bruno Freschi, Barton Myers, Peter Cardew and Richard Henriquez go beyond the exploratory “process” drawings. Rather, Architects’ Drawings deals with definitive works which present the final intent of the architect or design team. This exhibition is an infrequent opportunity for the general public to intimately view architectural depictions which demand attention as integral works of art utilizing an array of traditional and new media in a gallery setting.
