Speaker Series: Gisele Amantea

Gisele Amantea has been creating exquisite installations exploring kitsch, nostalgia, femininity and materiality since the late 1970s. Based in Montreal, her work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally. An exhibition of her work is currently running at the Presentation House Gallery until April 8.

The Speaker Series (1989–2006) was a programme of visiting artist talks and lectures. From 2000–2006, talks were co-organized with the Art Now course at ECIAD.
